Simba Shayanewako is the President of the Zimbabwean Nurses Network-USAand a registered nurse with over 14 years of clinical experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a Bachelor's degree in Business Management (Marketing major), a Diploma in Midwifery, and has completed professional development training in Project Management, along with certificates from Miyagi University in Japan. Simba began his career in direct patient care, building strong clinical expertise across diverse healthcare settings before progressing into leadership roles. His experience includes med-surgical nursing, supervision, staffing coordination, and healthcare operations management, where he has consistently focused on improving patient outcomes and team performance. Blending clinical knowledge with business and strategic insight, Simba brings a unique leadership approach that emphasizes efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth in healthcare environments. His background in project management further strengthens his ability to lead initiatives, optimize systems, and drive organizational improvement. He is deeply passionate about mentoring nurses and supporting their professional growth, particularly in helping Zimbabwean nurses navigate international opportunities and career advancement pathways. As President of ZNN, Simba is committed to building a strong, resource-rich network that empowers nurses through education, mentorship, and access to global opportunities.
